| have sticking rings in those 2 cylinders? I had a similar issue with replacement engine I installed (with lower readings than yours) and gave this a try which worked... - Fill the offending cylinders up with a few ounces of ATF and let them sit for a few days. Make sure the cylinder pistons aren't sitting at TDC either -- ATF will leak into your exhaust system (don't ask how I know this - LOL)... - Use a turkey baster + clear hose to remove the fluid. Then crank the engine with CAS disconnected and a rag loosely set over the spark plug holes. Need to work out the rest of the ATF left inside. Rotate the rags -- do this a few times - you see the rag get cleaner each time. - Run the engine a bit and then retest the compression in those 2 cylinders. Running the engine removes any remaining ATF to insure it isn't the reason for the better compression readings (ie., same idea as adding a teaspoon of oil to a cylinder to see if the compression gets better). This is an old timer car rebuilder trick for getting rings unstuck.... Easy to do, low cost and might solve your issue since your readings aren't all that bad...
